Spawn

The Xynex spawn is a carefully thought-out piece of art to display both chaos, destruction and peace. A singular stone pillar stands in the centre of the tall deepslate cliffs the main island is designed to be separate almost distant from the chaos of the rest of the server. Like a sanctuary or safe zone, the custom-made trees are made with jungle wood and warped fungus the shape of each tree is meant to be different to symbolise the complexity of nature. We then have some ancient stone ruins which show how perhaps spawn was home to more than just you before.

We then cross over spruce bridges which use slabs and hanging signs to give the effect that it is being pulled down by gravity. Beacons sit behind the portal and come through the stair blocks either side (Fun fact beacon beams can pass through glass, stairs, slabs and trap doors). Below the upper section of spawn is a river which is designed to circle round the three pillars/ islands which stand in spawn. I have chosen to do this because it gives a plausible way for there to be two levels: a bit like the Grand Canyon.

The red floor contrasts with the turquoise of the trees which are scattering the ground. These two vastly different colours give a sense of unfamiliarity make the spawn feel even more alien. Finally, the cliffs around the edge are, yes, built with world edit to encase the spawn and prevent you from seeing too far. It is purposely rigid to emphasize how strange nature can be. A lush green top perhaps hints at what is beyond. This moss was placed using sand which fell down onto the top and any sticking out edges before I then used the /replacenear command to replace the sand with moss. A bit of bonemeal also helps a lot. With a few vines and tick speed 1000 I was able to get a random and natural array of vines. If you do use vines make sure vine growth is disabled after finished!

The parkour is built with normal stone with magenta stained-glass underneath to look like floating partials drifting through spawn. The end is marked by banners with arrows on and the jumps are designed to get harder as you go up. I hope this was helpful and for more tips check out my channel!
